The best photographs of mollusc shells can be obtained by means of a double-extension studio-camera. However, to increase the maxi- mum depth of field one needs a special equipment which is presented in the paper. The author does not deal with techniques applied to photographing microscopic mollusc shells and radulae with a raster electron microscope (REM).
