ABSTRACT
The gastropod fauna of Wzgórza Ostrzeszowskie includes 48 terrestrial and 12 aquatic species (ca. 28% euryoecious, 21% higrophilous, 21% woodland, 17% species of open habitats, 15% synanthropic). Most habitats of the area (copses, alder fens, remnants of natural forests, xerothermic, anthropogenic and aquatic habitats) harbour a mixture of species typical for a given habitat and euroyecious species which probably constitute a secondary addition. Zoogeographically, Holarctic species constitute 26.27%, Palaearctic species s. l. 11.67%, Eurosiberian species 11.62%, European species s.l. 41.46%, Boreo-Alpine species 1.67%, introduced species 5%, species of unknown distribution 1.67%.
