ABSTRACT
In the paper, the author describes the occurrence of snails on the dumps of the Ostrówka and Ołowianka quarries, which was studied quantitatively by means of a biocenometer. The four localities in question differ between each other in succession level. Three snail species have been found: Helicella obvia (Menke, 1828), Bradybaena fruticum (O. F. Müller, 1774) and Cepaea vindobonensis (Ferussac, 1821). The author pays attention to the succession of the snails on the described dumps.
