ABSTRACT
A new locality of Monacha cartusiana (O. F. Müller) was found in the city of Kielce, Central Poland. The colony of snails is located above the edge of an abandoned quarry. The new site may suggest that M. cartusiana keeps expanding its distribution range in Poland.
